Maybe I didn't try hard enough but I couldn't find an electronic listing of current ETF's for the ASX in a usable form. For my own purposes I created a watchlist (now in Incredible Charts format) which I think is up to date. It's at:

In case its useful to somebody else.

Cheers ......... Alan

If anybody else is looking for a list of the ETF's available on the asx theres an (almost) up to date list here.

http://www.asx.com.au/products/managed-funds-product-list.htm

You just need to click on the blue bar for ETPs and it drops down the full list as well as the MER for each, the benchmark its set up to perform against and the trading code ...

... they even have a 'Bear Fund' now. that shorts futures to benchmark the ASX 200 in the opposite direction. Could be handy !

something i just spotted is

GMVW , basically a geared ( leveraged ) version of MVW

might not a good time to be buying this

but since i have been watching patiently for an attractive entry into MVW i may as well put this on my watchlist as well )

CAUTION gearing increases the risk of both good AND bad outcomes

i hold neither GMVW nor MVW currently
