Commsec Down

Anyone else having trouble with ComSec?? Stopped refreshing at about 12.30, and I'm now getting Site Not Found.

Looks like it's been down for most of the day now, server problem, still down as I write. Neither the website nor the protrader platform will run. What a bummer! Maybe they're all watching the Melbourne Cup at Comsec!? I can't believe it's down for so long, really annoying. They are definitely losing moneyout of this. I'm glad I'm not a daytrader or I'd be tearing my hair out.

Strange thing though. I could not connect locally but could connect through my work connection. Looked as though it was some DNS problem.

I've had this quite alot lately ... and again this morning... already.
I emailed them about it last week - but no reply of course.

I'd ring them but i havn't got all day to wait on the phone!!

I've never lost position statements - but watchlist views have been very iffy... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

(PS - I too just opened an e-trade account! Maybe there's something in that!)

Mine is fine but I have been having trouble with protrader itself I set up an 'options' window that for some reason, when I try to access it closes the whole program down and worst of all I don't know how to delete it so that I can set up a new 'options' window..... so no even if I accidentally click on it the whole thing spits the dummy!!!

I can get PT2 to work but not PT1 there seems to be a connection problem.

Thanks guys, PT1 came back up 15 mins before open. They really need to fix these platforms!! I use PT2 as a backup only as it crashes and freezes on a constant basis.

Yeh it worked... Like the new version set out better but at first glance this one seems to be more reliable. Probably because of its simplicity.
