I had lessons on it.At the time (1980) it was called something else, but we did civics, how voting works and what happens, how to write cheques!, how to borrow for a car without getting ripped off. other stuff they thought would be useful. Year 10. One term for one hour.Bring it back!Seriously 2 hours total is all you need to understand our political system. i think now it is an elective? and they go into way too much detail and the kids are not interested because it is boring.
