You guys are pretty cynical.All they need to know is how the voting system works and the different houses of Parliament.The real issue at present is the attempt by the three major parties to curtail independents being elected.the fact that you can donate to a major party and claim it on your tax, but you can't an independent isn't achieving anything so now they want to make it harderIn the early days of our Parliamentary system, many were independents and it worked fine.I rate David Pocock, Bob Katter and some others. Jacqui Lambie and Pauline Hanson were once independents.Its good for democracy. In the early days of our Parliamentary system, many were independents and it worked fine.
