In the last year or so, the number of ETF has exploded on the ASX.not sure about liquidity on these new entrants and usually one available per domain , not much more.The US market is heaven for etfs and when I used to trade macro economics ideas a bit, that was my goto , plus as you pointed, the ability to play bull bear on these ETF with options
