You are dreaming, however things like modern LED light bulbs will last 30 times longer and use 90% less electricity than the ones available in the 60’s.As for durable goods, most homes in 1960 didn’t even have washing machines, and TV’s were tiny and black and white, and had two channels.As for proper food, my father I law said that in 1960’s his family survived on powered milk for their breakfasts, and butchered meat was a luxury reserved for Sunday roasts if they were lucky. you seem to think that the average family in the 60’s ate like kings, the truth is they didn’t. Apples might be refrigerated now, but in the past they just weren’t available out of season.Take some time to honestly look at how many goods and services are consumed these days by people on the average wage, compared to actual goods and services consumed in the past.
