the selling high ( higher than i bought ) isn't so much the problem it is the buying back in ( meaningfully ) lower than what i sold at , that catches me ... like say BSLwhich is why i prefer selling PART of holdings ( unless they have taken an unattractive path , in which case i am unlikely to be buying back in ) i can always accumulate at opportune times
