Thanks KryzzI think the spread is really hard to beat 2-5% in most cases.Divide your loss by volume to see how much you have lost.You can then compare this to the spread you are paying. For example if you are losing .5 to 1% overall you probably have an edge but the spread is killing you etc etcIf you are looking for value in the odds you need a reasonable edge to overcome this and are taking on alot volatility to get decent returns.Still I keep trying...Betfair is a completely different beast, allows you to be a bookie of sorts by laying and arbing. But still doesn't guarantee success as you need to have expertise and resources to use book making/arbing strategiescheers
