At the global level fully agree.In the Australian context if we want it to work then it's doable with one or the other, we don't need both, and given existing expertise and lower cost hydro has the advantage. Use it to firm VRE and it all works.Nuclear works, it's just expensive and in the Australian context there are cheaper alternatives so why waste money?
