am not familiar with those specific junior bonds , but when playing with similar in earlier times ( 2011 to 2016 ) many of those securities where convertible into shares ( making them entirely acceptable as Tier 1 capital for Basel III and bail-in purposes ) reeks of 'picking winners' to me
