In reference to indigenous crime, if there was an elite "Voice", they would be more likely to tow the party line imo, ie aboriginals can't be blamed under any circumstances, it's all down to disadvantage and dispossession, whereas a relatively unsophisticated but sensible bloke on the ground says it like it is.They are the sort of people we should be listening to.
