I know ya said financial and not trading podcast, but it always makes me chuckle when people get too lovey-dovey, whether in a religious way or whatever, in the trading sphere.  Trading success is fundamentally about taking money off weaker traders.  AKA it's a zero-sum game.  If everyone is a great trader, then there's no losing traders to pay the great traders.  Maybe buy and hold, especially of index ETFs, IS different, though - it's more betting on, and providing capital for, the advancement of civilisation.
