36 hours after the phone call between Scholz and Putin, as well as President-elect Trump's warning not to escalate, Russia launched its first massive winter missile attack. According to official Ukrainian source:"A massive combined attack targeted all regions of Ukraine. Overnight and this morning, Russian terrorists used various types of drones, including Shaheds, as well as cruise, ballistic, and aeroballistic missiles - Zircons, Iskanders, and Kinzhals. In total, approximately 120 missiles and 90 drones were launched. Our air defense forces destroyed over 140 aerial targets."Damage is reported to infrastructure, especially in Kryvyi Riv, where energy and water supply has been suspended. In Dnipro train infrastructure has been effected. Areas in Mykolaiv and Lviv have been struck as well. Human casualties have been reported across the country."
