And smaller is not always betterThe only real advantage of small powerful chips is to make items lighter and smaller.
It's more advantageous with warfare, things like rockets, fighter planes and so on.
They can still make a washing machine or a mobile phone with larger chips, which means it needs to be a little larger.

Seriously , the denser, the more problematic cooling of the chip becomes and as the running temperature increase, the rate of failure increases.
