...and, besides, a lot of these flash stocks don't even have a 1c trading value

very unusual ... the top performers are not all penny dreadfuls. Corporate actions, some good half yearly's.
mind you , anything looking to raise capital, placements and the like, usually get swatted back to the newest cost price

Rarely look at stocks like DHG until your comment DF
CoStar's "takeover" offer of Domain looks "interesting"
CoStar purchased 16% of Domain's stock Thursday 20th at (apparently) $4.20 (while the stock was trading at $3.12 ish ?? The 100 million shares shown on the Chart which were traded around $3.15 is obviously not correct?)
The Major Shareholder Notice will clear that up?
