TV/Films - What ASF members are watching

I really wanted some light relief yesterday. Came across this gem of an absurdist Norwegian comedy set in a Viking village in 770 AD.

Find and skewers every single sacred cow. Well worth light entertainment .
Norseman on Netflix.

Enjoy a taste

West Coast Cops, channel 9.

A documentary on recruiting police from overseas and the real life experiences they have comming here.

It really is real people, not re enactments, I guess I can relate to it and the heartbreak it brings.

I came here when I was eight years old, with my brother and sister.
My Mum was an only child and my other grandparents on my Dads side only had one other grandchild.

None of my grandparents ever saw us again, the 1960's were hard and by the time I could go back, they were well dead.

Seems like a really interesting show, on channel 9.
People looking for a better life, I hope we don't let them down.Lol

Maybe channel 9 will do a follow up, with the same people, in a few years time.

$hit we're ten minutes in to the programme and I'm thinking this show was taped a few years ago, one family of police recruits have rented a house on the beach, well it obviously was recorded at least 3 years ago.

But still good advertising , hopefully it has a follow up.
