8-107. Pretty pathetic but we haven't betted yet.
Just !The pitches are sub par but the Kiwis look pretty ordinary.
Hopefully Smith can get into double figures.
Jeez @Sean K I've stayed at Yackandandah, I bought a brand new Jayco caravan over the phone from Albury-Wodonga chucked the Jeep on the Indian Pacific picked up the van and stayed at Yackandandah the first night. These pitches are a farce and the curators need to go back to turf school on how to prepare a track. Our gardner in Yackandandah produced something more playable.

It is that small, I probably saw you.
Did you pick up the sheep off a New Zealander, in the pub the night before?Lived in a shack behind the bottom pub for 2 years, 2001-02. Woke up one morning with a sheep next to me. Other than that was a very good two years. And I do think the cricket pitch was better than this crap.
Not surprised at all, there are some very attractive sheep in Yacka.Lived in a shack behind the bottom pub for 2 years, 2001-02. Woke up one morning with a sheep next to me. Other than that was a very good two years. And I do think the cricket pitch was better than this crap.
You need a lot of luck on this pitch.Kiwis making a game out of it. Australia has used 8 bowlers. Time to give Carey a trundle.
2-22, we will be lucky to make 150.
Time to reconsider opening with Smith?
I would go with Green opening, Head 3 , Smith 4, Labushagne 5.
From what I have seen, both Lab. and Smith are getting too square on to bowling pitched on the stumps, consequently their bats are coming down in a line from the slips to mid on and not in line with the flight of the ball. I think they need to sort out their techniques in their holidays. They need to persist for another tour I think. But, next in line to try opening may be the Lab. Green and Marsh have to stay in the team now so I can't see how they drop someone to bring in a specialist opener. I think the selectors might be thinking this is just a lull for the top order and they'll work through it.
