Australian (ASX) Stock Market Forum

Mr Divs good evening to you Sir. It's a bit like the chocolate wheel or Wheel of Fortune. If it stops on your number you're the winner. Good luck with the downsizing.
i am making hard work of it , mainly because i am trying to keep the good div. payers ( and robust companies )

my 'growth stocks ' have been getting a beating but maybe i should be booting those entirely ( if there is a major economic collapse there won't be much growth or near term profits)

So true a hard one to judge

in 2011 i was just finding my way in this share ownership adventure , irregular hours of work made learning a bit harder , but scored some wins ( as i was buying as the market slid lower )

wasn't a bad time to start but there is nothing like the experience of a crash to test your strategies ( and nerves )

As is my want at this time of the evening, when all is relatively quite, had a quick gecko at the DOW and mates. Is looking positive at this early stage, so just possibly Friday, Frightday, maybe a kind type of day. I guess the morning will be the bearer of good or bad or indifferent tidings.

Nerves of steel and icey water running through the veins. and perhaps ganauts the size of coconuts.

Just checked into Wally Street and it is looking pretty good at this stage of the evening. The others over there are looking relative healthy also.
Perhaps a bit better day than today could be coming.

well the shares i inherited ( 4 companies ) came with some inherited documentation ( of companies that didn't survive the test of time )

so was well aware of some of the risks

Just had a squizz at the DOW.
At this early part of the evening sitting in green for a change.
Now hoping that will continue until the close of play tomorrow morning.

DOW is looking exceptionally healthy in the early stage of proceedings. Up nearly1.5%. If this holds throughout the night what will Monday bring us on the ASX.
And now from me and him good night.
Him being the Bloke in the Mirror.

Looking at the Dow a few moments ago, is sitting in the green. Early hours I know but.................
