there is the link to the original article published some 3 days ago. my understanding of the guardian they have always aimed to capture the so called intellectuals of society (clowns of clownworld) but if they continue to publish satire like this i might have to give it a browse more often

assuming that is real then I think it is a bad example for the public

Public contests like that are meant as encouragement for people to look their best and be their best.

Unfortunately, obese people rarely live to a ripe old age because their bodies break down and cause them to die younger

I know people who are like that and they are quite happy but they are frequent users of our medical services because of the burden placed on their organs and limbs

One example would be that a lady fell in the bathroom, her husband was unable to lift her, he called the ambulance for assistance, they arrived with one male and one female officer.

They were unable to get her back on her feet so they had to call in another ambulance unit with the heavy lift gear, they carry that in, set it up around her, press the button and up she comes.

She was on the floor for 4.5 hours, she tied up one unit for 4 hours and the other for 2 hours all because of her love of food.

We are paying for all of this to happen
