Trump 2.0

a flattering knighthood, or commander of the Bath. mmm
In the current scheme of things, nothing would be off the table. mmmm

Just the weight of media coverage for Trump, tells us the establishment is in absolute turmoil, a nice cup of tea may be the answer. :roflmao:

The problem with this analysis is that the US has not declared war on anybody.
It may be waging many wars, but officially, it has not declared war, so the use of the statute the fine lady quotes may not be applicable.
There is no doubt that the supreme ruled as she said, but that was immediately post WW2, during which the US was under a war declaration.
It remains to be seen in this case whether
(a) The district judge even has authority to hear the case, regardless of the illegal alien statute
(b) Whether the US is at War and the illegal alien statute can be used by the government.
Both of these will need to be determined by the Supreme Court.

bimbo on tiktok... mmmm
It is a sad indictment of the state of mainstream media, when things like tiktok and other self made visual media become more noteworthy and credible.
The mainstream media is in rapid decline, due to obvious bias, so people are turning to the internet to hear people with a similar bias.
The media is responsible for its own demise unfortunately, way too busy picking sides, rather than just informing everyone. IMO

Absolutely, that's why I try and just use a cross section of sources generally from offshore U.S, when trying to make a point.
Rather than just looking for a random sound grab, that fits with my opinion, or the narrative.
Especially from a source I have discredited several times previously and it wasn't me that discredited him. ;)

You don’t get it…. Trump and his cult are doing anything to divide when it is pointed out by the same side of politics as are many critics its worth taking notice instead you want a pissing competition on news sources.
Trump removed the notation of one GIs involved in the raising of the flag at Iwo Jima because he was black

The Cult cheers on.

That sounds far fetched, there would be no logical reason for Trump to do that, so I would wait and see what transpires before deciding whether it is accurate reporting or just more of the anti Trump rhetoric.

It isn't a cult thing, it is an application of logics, the cult thing is believing anything and everything that supports your underlying beliefs and there are only a couple of people showing that trait IMO.

I personally don't care one way or the other, what the U.S wants to do with its history, same with China
All I care about is how the actions there, affect me and my families future here and from what I'm reading it is the first time in a long time that the West has had to have a good look at where it is heading which is a good thing IMO.

Trump is in for 4 years, if he is lucky, let's just see how it pans out once the manic media calms down.
The media was very much like this when Milei was elected, now they are have a constructive look at the situation and working out the good and the bad from his actions, the same will happen with Trump.

work this one out, follocks

One would think they are doing that already, the way China reverse engineers everything, I wouldn't think the U,S wouldn't be putting their topshelf leading edge technology in equipment the opposition can capture
Australia is buying mega grid batteries, that will be the backbone of our whole electrical grid from China and they will be able to remotely switch them off, not a lot is said about that.
Work that one out follocks. 😂

I posted the video earlier.
We and Canada are the main allies who are buying them.
We all look like suckers to him but if I was Canadian I would be particularly worried that they haven't stuck some chip in that stops them working upon a signal.

I guess we will just have to build our own planes, really who can you trust these days? We will just have to dust off the plans for the Boomerang and get back into production.

https://www.airforce.gov.au/community/event-participation/air-force-heritage-aircraft-fleet/ca-13-boomerang#:~:text=The Boomerang still remains to,fighter aircraft to see production.

The Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation Boomerang was a single seat fighter/army cooperation aircraft powered by a 1,200 HP Pratt & Whitney R-1830-S3C4G Twin Wasp 14 cylinder twin row radial engine.

Built in response to Australia’s urgent need for fighter aircraft in WWII, the Boomerang utilised the design principles and construction techniques of the Wirraway advanced trainer, already in production at CAC. Such was the speed of its development that no actual prototype was produced. The first five production aircraft were already under construction before the first aircraft flew.

Until then, we will just have to manage with these.

Buy them from Sweden. That's what Canada is considering.

We have spent hundreds of millions supporting the USA to develop these jets. They were a trusted ally. We will still trust them ( we have to) but it is worrisome.

Buy them from whoever gives the best value for money, kind of makes the most sense, but politicians haven't been doing that for years.

The USA still is a trusted ally, they just want a reciprocal agreement, where their allies spend an agreed amount of money on defence rather than bludging on the the U.S taxpayer.

The U.S has a lot more per capita debt than Australia, why should Australia get away with buying minimal military equipment off the U.S and relying on the U.S to pull them out of the manure?

Don't forget it was only a couple of years ago, we were going to buy diesel subs from France, so we weren't exactly showing a lot of mateship with the U.S were we and I'm sure France wouldn't jump to our aid. :roflmao:

We need to stop whining like babies and pull our big boys pants on. 😂

The problem is our politicians have done nothing but spend the countries money, now they have to learn how to be frugal, that will be hard.
That will take planning, which doesn't seem to be in the politicians skill set these days.;)

I have it on VERY good authority that Tump is about to announce that he has determined his true gender, and henceforth wants to be recognised as a woman.
This will create an enormous dilemma for the Democrats.
Either they accept his gender recognition, and this agree that he is the first female president of the USA, or else they will have to reject the whole gender fluidity thing.

Making Hillary call him "madam president" for bonus points

Trump isn't happy that his Executive Decisions to do exactly what he wants are being challenged as "frivolous/unreasonable/vexatious "
So how does someone like The Don resolve this issue ?
No prizes for guessing this response

Law firm calls Trump and Bondi 'far removed' from Constitution

10:00 , Ariana Baio

The law firm Keker, Van Nest, & Peters issued a statement condemning President Donald Trump for issuing an executive memo calling for Attorney General Pam Bondi to investigate and punish law firms who file challenges to the Trump administration’s policies.

“Trump’s new memo underscores how far removed this President, Attorney General and Administration are from our nation’s Constitution and bedrock values,” lawyers at the large litigation firm said in a statement.

“Our liberties depend on lawyers’ willingness to represent unpopular people and causes, including in matters adverse to the Federal Government. An attack on lawyers who perform this work is inexcusable and despicable. Our profession owes every client zealous legal representation without fear of retribution, regardless of their political affiliation or ability to pay.”

And what do we think might happen when the Tax Office staff are slashed in the name of "efficiency " ?

How is this not Tyranny ?

Trump can disappear them, he can disappear you.

With no court to verify anything the Trump regime alleges, you could be arrested and sent to a prison in El Salvador for having views the regime dislikes

Mar 24

Friends,
Let’s say you don’t like what the Trump administration is doing, or you don’t like Trump. You express these views on Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram.

You take a two-week vacation in France. When you try to return to the United States, U.S. immigration agents arrest you. They detain you in solitary confinement. They don’t let you contact your family. They don’t let you contact a lawyer. Then they send you to a brutal prison in El Salvador.

But wait! You scream over and over. You can’t do this! I’m an American citizen!
Your screams have no effect.

Sound far-fetched? Recently, a French scientist was prevented from entering the United States because U.S. Border Patrol agents had found messages from him in which he had expressed his “personal opinion” to colleagues and friends about Trump’s science policies.

In another case, immigration agents detained Dr. Rasha Alawieh, a kidney transplant specialist and professor at Brown University who was trying to return to the United States after visiting relatives in Lebanon.

Dr. Alawieh was not allowed to do that. She was deported despite having a valid visa and a court order blocking her removal. Federal authorities alleged that they found “sympathetic photos and videos of prominent Hezbollah figures” in her phone and that she attended the funeral for the leader of Hezbollah in February.

But these are just the Trump regime’s allegations. No court has been able to review this evidence.

U.S. border officials concede they’re using more aggressive tactics these days, which the administration calls “enhanced vetting,” at ports of entry to the United States.

Okay, so maybe you don’t go abroad. You just express views that the current U.S. government regime dislikes. As a result, U.S. government agents arrest and detain and then “disappear” you. They say you’re a threat to national security.

Again, not as far-fetched as it sounds.

The regime has begun to target legal immigrants in the United States who have expressed views that the Trump regime believes threaten national security and undermine foreign policy.

Investigators for Immigration and Customs Enforcement have been searching videos, online posts, and news clippings of campus protests against the Israel-Hamas war.

To deport people living in the United States with green cards or valid visas, the Trump regime has invoked a rarely used provision of the Immigration and Nationality Act that gives the secretary of state sweeping power to expel foreigners who are seen as a threat to the country’s foreign policy interests.

Using that authority, ICE agents arrested Mahmoud Khalil, a Columbia graduate who has Palestinian heritage and took on a prominent role in the pro-Palestinian protests at the school, and Badar Khan Suri, an Indian citizen who has been studying and teaching at Georgetown.
Mr. Khalil has a green card, which means he is a legal permanent resident.

Apparently, the State Department believes Dr. Suri engaged in antisemitic speech that would undermine diplomatic efforts to get Israel and Hamas to agree to a ceasefire. He is in the United States on a visa for academics.

On Monday night, Dr. Suri was surrounded by masked Homeland Security agents outside his home in Virginia, arrested, and placed in an unmarked SUV. A judge has temporarily blocked his removal from the country.

Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, accuses Khalil of “siding with terrorists” and Dr. Suri of “spreading Hamas propaganda and promoting antisemitism on social media.”

But why should we believe her? She has provided no evidence. Why should we believe anything the Trump regime alleges? Neither Khalil nor Suri has been charged with a crime.

Or consider Venezuelan and Salvadoran men who have been detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Where are they now? Their families don’t know. They’ve been disappeared over the past week, with no explanation provided by the government over why or where they may be.

None of these cases has been reviewed by a court of law. There have been no independent findings that any of these people constitute a danger to the United States, or even that their views are dangerous.

There’s not even been an independent finding that these people are non-Americans. For all we know, they could be just like you or me — Americans who have expressed views that the Trump regime dislikes.
Do you see how perilously close we are to the edge?
