Once again an hour before the open westpac broking self implodes. :banghead:
And an hour after opening I'm still having trouble with both the banking and broking ???????? They are close to losing a customer.

Re: Off to a bad start

So here we go again, lets just take monday off Westpac obviously does. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: Even online banking is down.
If Pestpac broking just works long enough so I can get out of debt I'll be off to Commsec or someone so fast.

Re: Off to a bad start Pestpac

:banghead: @ least online banking tells you it's offline, broking worked (slowly for about an hour) then all of a sudden "page unavailable" & has been since, no explanation as per usual.
If GTP keeps falling I'm gonna so be sp#wing. No stop loss & now I can't place one, big corporations should be made to listen to their own hold music for an hour a day. :banghead:

The problem is that I switched to Westpac from Comsec after a lot of problems there. ( and I switched to the Com from Nat ) Bl***** banks, the customer is, to them, just one of the things they have to put up with. We must not interfere with their profit.

That's what worries me, I thought I was fooling myself to think I could solve my problems by going to another bank. :banghead:
I'm sure the banks r all laughing!! hahaha! take your business elsewhere, hahaha, there just as bad as us! :banghead:

I did some bricklaying at one of the NAB directors houses some years ago in Camberwell and the reply to me was "ELECTRONIC TRANSACTIONS !!!" So I concluded as we all would "customer? what customer?" even if they pull out the money and shuffle down the street you still do transactions!
He went on to tell me how the UK are so backward and this and that .....yet my friend brought out his family this August for their holidays and he was amazed as to how I was trading at home in my office!

It is electronic transactions I can't do today.

Re: Off to a bad start

Pestpac would seem to be working again, I was able to amend a conditional order, mind you there was a time last week when conditional orders were available but normal orders weren't. :banghead: Of couse they charge more for a conditional order.

Re: Off to a bad start

Just got off the phone to the complaints department they were happy to give me an extra three contra days on my 3 a/cs (i dont have to pay for any shares ive bought for 6 days) as a form of compensation for their recent systems failure(s). Still happy to keep them onside at this stage because im not sure their are many sites that offer as much as what they do in reguards to availabe research and market data. However they still have a long way to to prove their reliability, i hope they can!

Re: Off to a bad start

Looks like we are down again this morning 10mins before the open :banghead:

I wonder what time they will open up 2day? :banghead:

Constable I find their market research handy when I bother to use it but it's pretty stock standard available info. What I find hard to fathom/use is there portfolio page, the only time it makes any sense is if you stop trading for a week. I use ASXs' free portfolio/ users page so I can keep track. With all the trading I've done in the last month & with all the hiccups & crashes at Pacdup I'm worried they've lost my gains in a glitch & I've got no way of checking without as I said, stopping trading for a week. :banghead:

i keep a running tally every trade is recorded + or -. I too find their contra system an absolute mystery and have had to call to find out what's owed, when . Usually find im ahead by several days.

Just register for MYASX then go straight to watchlists & away you go.
My system is, as soon as I rx an email confirmation of an order from Pestpac I update my portfolio watchlist on MYASX, I was lucky to have stumbled on it 15 months ago when I started trading. :)
TRYING TO TRADE USING WESTCR*PS SYSTEM IS LIKE TRYING TO CATCH FISH BY HAND :banghead:
You can have up to 20 watchlists, (with MYASX) so as well as your portfolio you can have lists of stocks you use to own & lists of stocks you are interested in. Dead simple to use & totally no strings attached. It's in ASXs interest to have ppl trading shares so they provide this great free service. I would be totally lost without "MYASX". :)
