If the Fed acts as expected then in my view it's likely to be a non-issue for the market.As this is such a well telegraphed event, maybe nothing happens and its business as usual.
If we see a 50bp cut the market will go into free fall in my opinion.It's if the Fed doesn't do what's expected that things will get interesting.

I can't see why financials would crash, however you would assume they are near there tops. Resource stocks look to be starting to find a bottom and should start rallying if the economy is starting to rebound due to lower interest rates.
As this is such a well telegraphed event, maybe nothing happens and its business as usual.

FED meets tonight, we'll see how it goes. Personally, it's just another blip and there's nothing to do; short term the reaction will be one way or the other but long-term markets will push on.Tomorrow's trading on the ASX?
